Alan Kay started QTCE (Queenstown Communications and Electrics Ltd) in January 2021 after seeing a demand in the market for structured cabling systems and fibre solutions. 

Alan’s knowledge and high standards within the communications industry have seen him work for a range of clients throughout his career in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

He gained a Level 3 Certification in Telecommunications, a Master Installer’s Certificate in Structured Cabling and is also a New Zealand registered Electrical Worker.

Alan previously worked with Aotea Electrical as a Supervisor, Data Technician, and Electrician for 14 years and is now looking forward to supplying his specialised services to Central Otago businesses.
